HAPPY BIRTHDAY...to a mouse?

The most famous mouse (or rodent) in the UNIVERSE had yet another birthday today. Mickey Mouse turned 80 today. He first appeared in "Steamboat Willie" on November 18, 1928. He helped Americans through times like the Great Depression. In that stormy time period, along with Minnie, he was the American symbol of hope and "the little man". He was also alive and well during happy times and has been a huge part of millions of childrens' childhoods. He has starred in movies like "Fantasia" and is now part of disney toons like "Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse". Everyone knows those red shorts and loves those white gloves. His face is recognizable worldwide and is the famous symbol of the Walt Disney Brand. Show a picture of him to a child and a smile will instantly appear on their face.
