Banned Books are BAD!
Banned books are soooo stupid!! First of all, books like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and even THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR have been banned!!!! Not only are good, thoughtful books banned, but some are banned for terrible reasons like "it promotes obesity" [Very Hungry Caterpillar] or "written during the cold war" for the Dr. Seuss book The Butter Battle Book. This is crazy and having a week to celebrate them?? Every week should be a No Banning Books week.

I agree with you these have gotten out of hand when it comes to banning books.
Couldn't agree with you more.
I'm not sure why people give a hoot what you or I read in our free time.
Please leave me and my books (especially The Hungry Caterpillar) alone!
you have no idea how right you are. i hate the idea of banning books. i think it's idiotic.
